SYNOPSIS

“FAT GIRL” is a dramedy web series that was awarded a grant from Argentina’s National Film and Audiovisual Arts Institute (INCAA) in their web series competition. Produced by B de Bueno in association with Un3, it also received support from Argentina’s National Arts Fund and patronage from Buenos Aires’ Mecenazgo.

The story of Joy, who suffers all the hardships of being a fat girl in the city of Buenos Aires. Her life changes when an audio message in which she shares the injustices she copes with everyday, accidentally becomes viral.

DIRECTORS

SOL RIETTI:

Graduated in Image and Sound Design (UBA). She directed the animation series “Cortos de Gigantes” (2014), “Instrucciones Para Humanos” (2015) and “Los Inadaptables” (2017). She was also part of several audiovisual projects in the areas of direction, art , animation and post production.

BÁRBARA CERRO:

She graduated in Image and Sound Design (UBA). She directed the series “Instrucciones para Humanos”(2015) and “Los Inadaptables”(2017), she was assistant director in the feature film “La máquina de hacer estrellas”.
She worked as Artistic Director of the Expotoons Festival and is currently the Director of BIT BANG FEST. She also directs the artist interview series “Bit Bang Tv”.

TAMY HOCHMAN:

She studied Image and Sound Design at UBA and Tel Avivi National University. She was producer of the series “Los Inadaptables” (2017). She was part of several audiovisual projects in the areas of direction and production. She is also an actress trained at Augusto Fernandes’ school.
